Working from home (WFH) has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason.

With the latest advancements in technology, it is easier than ever for employees to work remotely while still being able to stay connected to their colleagues. For up and coming companies, Working from Home can be a game changer in terms of recruitment, productivity, employee satisfaction, and savings.

Recruitment

WFH allows companies to attract talent from all over the world, rather than being limited to a specific geographic location. This opens up a much larger pool of potential employees, increasing the chances of finding the best fit for an open position. Additionally, WFH can make the company more attractive to top talent who are looking for more flexibility in their career. Why be tied down to one area or spend extra money on relocation costs if you don’t have to?

Employees Love the Perks

Employees love working from home for various different reasons such as flexibility, comfort, saving time on commuting, and increased productivity. According to a recent study done on our Instagram story, the most common reason(s) why people love WFH is saving time on their commute and the flexibility of it.

Productivity

Believe it or not, most people who work from home state that they are exponentially more productive in their workday compared to when they worked in the office. When your staff can save time on commuting, work in the comfort of their own home, and have increased flexibility in their schedule, they are in turn
saving energy for their tasks at work. In a recent poll done on our Instagram story, 88% of respondents said that they find themselves to be more productive when working from home while 12% said they found themselves to be less productive.

Cost Savings

Stop throwing your money down the toilet! Implementing a Work from Home or Hybrid environment can significantly reduce overhead costs for companies, such as rent, utilities, and office supplies. This can be a major advantage for up and coming companies that are trying to keep their expenses low. Additionally,
WFH can help reduce the need for business travel, saving even more money.

Work from home (WFH) is certainly the future for up and coming companies. Employees have a different standard of work-life balance than they did years ago and as a company, you need to be aware of workplace trends to keep your staff satisfied and keep your retention rates high.
