HIRE Strategies has been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the 50 fastest growing private companies in the Triangle. The staffing firm was selected and ranked based on a formula that counts revenue growth and profitability in its preceding three years (2016-2018). This award acknowledges dynamic, privately held companies and its distinction validates HIRE Strategies’ commitment to the community and its professional opportunities.
“It is an enormous compliment to be recognized by such a prominent local publication for our work in the Triangle community; a place we are honored to live and work in,” said Sonya Hopson, HIRE Strategies CEO. “At HIRE Strategies we are committed to remaining a reliable source for high-quality talent placement and as we continue to grow, so does the success of our candidates and employers which is a priority.”
This recognition represents the ongoing growth the company has experienced since Sonya founded the agency in 2013 after spending many years as a successful recruiter at other firms. As HIRE Strategies continued its substantial growth, Sonya worked to acquire Five Star Staffing, a long-standing local firm. This strategic move added administrative recruiting to HIRE Strategies’ portfolio, expanding its consistent placements in construction and manufacturing.
Hopson believes the growth of HIRE Strategies is a response to the company’s thoughtful approach to placement. “Sourcing talent through an agency like ours doesn’t just fill a position quickly, it’s a mutually beneficial investment,” said Hopson. “We offer companies the chance to see somebody work before committing long-term. Instead of spending time and money on candidate profiling and job board posting, we act as a matchmaker for our clients, screening candidates to find the best person who has the right skill set and fits the company culture.”
The exact rankings won’t be revealed until the Fast 50 Awards dinner on November 20th. Profiles of the honorees will be featured in a Fast 50 Awards special section in the November 22 subscriber edition of TBJ.
